So that's the real secret to supermodel skin!

Jourdan Dunn reveals the 14 products, totaling more than $1,000, she uses in just 24 hours to maintain a flawless complexion

  • Jourdan Dunn, 25, posted two photos on Instagram of the skincare products she uses for Sunday facials and her Monday morning routine
  • The 14 products add up to more than $1,000
  • The model said she is not paid to endorse any of the products
  • Jourdan has fronted campaigns for brands including Maybelline New York and Burberry

Supermodel Jourdan Dunn caused a frenzy among her 1.6 million Instagram followers when she posted two skincare-specific photos on her account.

Over the weekend, she snapped a picture of the seven products she uses for her 'Sunday facial'. A few hours later, she followed it up with another product shot - this time of the seven essentials in her 'Monday morning routine'.

Jourdan, 25, clearly wanted her fans to know that all of the picks were truly ones she liked because she wrote the following in the caption of the second photo: '*SIDE Note* this isn't a promoted post, none of these brands are paying me to post! I just feel like sharing #sharingiscaring'.

As a face of Maybelline New York and Burberry, the English model knows the importance of a solid skincare regimen.

British Vogue once asked her if she had any beauty sins. Her answer? 'Well I always take off my make-up before bed so it's not that. Seriously, always. Even if I'm a hot, drunken mess I'll always remember to remove it. I might wake up in my clothes, but I won't be wearing make-up. I spend a lot of money on beauty products - does that count?'

And more recently, she admitted to Femail that she spends almost an hour each day on her skin. 'It takes me a good 20 minutes in the morning and then about half an hour in the evening,' the model said.

The supermodel, and mom to six-year-old son, Riley, spends some of her downtime on her skin, declaring Sunday her time for at-home facials.

Her seven-step facial incorporates many of the elements you would find in a spa. It begins, as one would expect, with a solid cleansing. Jourdan uses a cleansing balm from the UK-based brand Emma Hardie.

Next, she applies a Pumpkin Enzyme Mask from Peter Thomas Roth. The mask both exfoliates and gently peels with alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) to slough off dead skin cells that make complexions dull.

Once the bad-for-your-skin stuff has been removed, Jourdan uses an aromatic steam to prepare her skin for the good ingredients she's about to put on it. Her steam of choice? The SkinOwl Beauty Steam, which, according to the company, 'opens the skin's pores for deep cleansing, decongestion and hydration'.

Steps four and five for Jourdan are both masks. She applies the legendary Dr. Sebagh's Skin Perfecting Mask to boost radiance and deep clean pores. The directions advise leaving the mask on for five to ten minutes before rinsing your face with warm water.

The Hydrating B5 Masque from Skinceuticals then uses hyaluronic acid and vitamin B5 to restore moisture to the skin. After ten minutes, any extra product left on the face can be rubbed in - no rinsing required.

Jourdan ends her DIY facial by applying Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Synchronized Recovery Complex II under her eyes and moisturizing the rest of her face with Beauty Sleep Cream from Pixi.

You might think after such a rigorous Sunday skin regimen, Jourdan would scale back on the products she uses come Monday morning.

That's not the case. In fact, she uses just as many products on Monday mornings as she does Sunday evenings.

Her seven-product A.M. routine starts with an antioxidant-infused cleanser from Tata Harper that will help ward off free radicals from pollution and a toner with glycolic acid (to make skin glow) from wallet-friendly brand Pixi.

A few splashes of the cult-favorite Facial Treatment Essence from SK-II - celebrities like Cate Blanchett swear by the brand's signature anti-ageing ingredient Pitera - come next.

Jourdan then helps reduce puffiness and increase circulation around her eyes with Pixi's 24K Eye Elixer before doubling up on serums.

The first serum she uses, from Sunday Riley, evens out skin tone, helps fade acne scars and dark spots and keeps skin looking youthful. Serum number two, is the pricey Z Luminous Brightening one from Zelens. At $260, it's a splurge, but it does make skin shine from within seemingly on contact.

The final product Jourdan documents is the Elemis Hydra-Balance Day Cream, which hydrates and makes skin supple. It does not, however, have SPF in it, so we'd like to think the supermodel layers on a sunscreen after.
