The feelunique team adore beauty treatments but with busy lifestyles we don’t have the time to treat ourselves as often as we’d like. Our DIY Spa series shows you how to recreate some of the capital’s best spa treatments from the comfort of your own home.

We're obsessed with Emma Hardie's Moringa Cleansing Balm, so we sought out the lady herself for tips on how to create a relaxing at-home facial routine. Here are her tip on recreating her popular Lift & Glow Facial which is designed to stimulate and repair facial tissues and boost circulation for a lifting and sculpting effect - sounds good to us!

1) Cleanse, Polish and Lift.

Wet your microfibre cloth with hot water and hold onto your skin for 30 seconds to loosen dead skin and impurities. Take a hazelnut sized amount of our aromatic deep pore cleansing Moringa Balm, warm between your fingers and gently massage in slow deep circles including eyelids and eye sockets using a firmer pressure on the eye brow arch. Massage from the centre to the sides of your face, the cheek jaw and neck area. Really focus on massaging the contours of your facial bone to help release any tensions and muscular restrictions - allowing deep drainage, lift and tone the facial tissue. Spend at least 3 minutes doing this. Finally, wet your cloth again and remove the balm in cross hatched downward stripes supporting the skin that you are working on in a firm upward direction, this will help to aid lymphatic drainage and the toning of your skin.

2) Brilliance Oil Facial Massage.

Smooth three drops of our Brilliance Facial Oil into your face and neck. To further contour and lift, massage your entire face and neck in downwards crosshatched lines, always supporting the area you are working on in an upwards direction. This creates a toning effect on the skin and muscle a little bit like practicing a toning yoga movement for your face. Next, take a dry microfibre cloth and gently buff over the skin to help further and tone.

3) Instant Radiance Mask.

Take a good size amount of our Instant Radiance Mask and smooth a good layer over your entire face, eye, and neck area. Place two chilled damp cotton eye pads over your eyes and lie down for 10 -15 minutes with relaxing music and an aromatic candle, breathe deeply. Take a hot damp microfibre cloth and remove the mask in the same way as the Moringa Balm.

4) Midas Touch Serum.

The next step in your spa facial is to apply two pumps of our hydrating, firming and illuminating Midas Touch Serum to your face and neck. Rich in skin firming and hydrating Pseudo Collagens and natural mineral light diffusers, this will help to leave the skin illuminated & hydrated.

5) Age Support Eye and Treatment Cream.

To complete the facial, take a small amount of our Age Support Eye Cream and smooth over your entire eye area including the eye lids, take in down to the tops of your cheek bones and work the cream through your eyebrows. Finally apply our Age Support Treatment Cream to the rest of the face and neck; this will lift and firm the skin when you massage the cream into the skin in the downwards lines technique described above.
