THE MYTH: EXCERCISE IS JUST FOR YOUR BODY Why we believe it: How can you exercise your face?!Why it’s not true: Facial gymnastics – exercises that target muscles in your face – relax connectible tissues so the muscles lift back up into their original contours, giving your face a more youthful appearance. “Lift your chin upwards so you feel a stretch down the front of your neck,” recommends Sophie Dahl’s facialist Emma Hardie. “Slightly tensing your muscles, open your mouth as wide as possible and slowly move your mouth around in all directions. Then focus on your cheek and forhead muscles and slowly but firmly move these around in all directions,” Try doing these exercises for five minutes everyday and you’ll notice improved firmness after a couple of weeks – no gym pass needed!
