De-stress your face

Do you suffer from stressed out 'computer-face' from staring at a screen all day? Facialist and anti-ageing guru Emma Hardie who runs anti-ageing facial programmes (for details, visit emmahardie.com), recommends the following exercise. Warning: you may look silly...

  • Lift your chin up, and open your mouth as wide as you can.
  • Slowly move your mouth around in all directions, as if you're saying 'wow', then smile with your mouth open, keeping your chin pointed up.
  • Lift your forehead muscles up by raising your eyebrows, and do the open-mouthed smile again.
